That hair style is very familar....HMMM! He looks like..NOOO! Jul 29, 2008 Buzz Osboune?
This band's music is about original as their singers hair (not so much). But you wouldn't know that because you are a robot.
If the herd likes it, it must be good!
You should buy this. You'd like it. Your friends will like you more, if you did!
Let's get the record straight Jul 03, 2008 4 1/2 - I recall laying on my bedroom floor while listening to From Fear Through The Eyes Of Madness and I remember screaming "holy crap this is freaking amazing" every 30 seconds. That record was pure musicianship and they earned the label as "creative geniuses" in my mind. That album was a beast and it was VERY impressive. Let's fast forward a little, I managed to see an article on ultimate-guitar.com with Claudio talking about No World For Tomorrow and I was SO excited for this album. I thought there was no way they could top the last album because that album was 100% face ripping awesome music and then I heard "The Running Free" and I was happy, it wasn't as technical but it was catchy and it was still a good song. Excited for the album I bought it the minute it came out.
If you want the honest truth about the album here it is: The Musicianship is NOT as technical as Volume 1, but more catchy. If you thought "The Suffering" was catchy you haven't seen anything yet.
Just because it's catchy doesn't make it a bad album. It's a GREAT album, undoubtedly, but I agree that if I give this album a 5, then what do I rate Volume 1? Volume 1 was better, but Volume 2 wasn't bad at all. It's right up there, but it's not quite there.
Worth the buy? DEFINITELY, I mean come on...it's Coheed! haha
THE FIRST REWIEW ??????? Jun 20, 2008 seriously people i find it hard to belive im the first one to rewiew this album on amazon ....anyway ....this is probably one of the greatest cd's i have ever heard hands down ...i put coheed and cambria up there with all the rock greats ...just because the are a band from this millenium does not mean that they dont compare to the likes of zepplin ... or rush ...any other ground breaking rock acts from yesteryear ...times have changed and so has the music ...and to think that all the albums tie in to a larger story makes it even more dope ...coheed and cambria is not just another fly by nite band ...they have actually created thier own ..world told through very complex and compelling songs telling the story ..of a married couple ..who are doomed ..thats where the bands name comes from ...this album is the final chapter of the story ....you really need to pick up all of the albums to respect this band ...just sucks that amazon does not carry them ...i sugesst going on itunes and just get this bands whole discography....you will not be dissapointed..light up a j and listen to this story ..it will blow your mind and rock you out at the same time ......
was skeptical at first.. May 19, 2008 but i am now a great believer in Coheed and Cambria. Most bands wilt entirely after their sophmore album but not Coheed!! Theyre here for the long haul people. The CD's just keep getting better and better and better! Do not pass this album up if you like any of Coheed and Cambria's previous albums at all.. even just a little bit, because this has to be their most solid album yet. I'm in utter disbelief that they were able to pull this off and i bow in their presence for creating such an amazing album. This is a sign of a truly amazing band and this is one truly amazing CD!

Packaging May 17, 2008 This may be of little consequence to some people, but the cheaper version of this disc comes with no jewel case, no extra artwork, and no lyrics. For the cost of this cheaper version, you get the disc in a cardstock sleeve--nothing else. If you want more, consider the "deluxe" version instead: No World for Tomorrow (Deluxe).
