Mainstream Reggae Jan 03, 2006 Jimmy Cliff falls somewhere between the mellow Bob Marley and the hard-hitting Toots Hibbard. This collection has his one big top 40 hit, and a selection of songs that we know from Harry Nilsson, Three Dog Night, Desmond Dekker etc. Taken on its own terms, it's good stuff.

Great songs, poorly presented Jul 05, 2004 There are some great Jimmy Cliff classics on this album, but I didn't know he'd ever recorded such poor versions of them. A complete waste of money. Just incredibly overproduced. Track 1 is especially disgusting. Jimmy Cliff fans will NOT be pleased. Save your money. Get the soundtrack for The Harder They Come instead.
