Nothing new. Oct 13, 2008 Yes they have some catchy tunes, but this record is unbearably unoriginal. This music is best suited for a tv drama, rolling in during the scene where the doctor makes a grand effort to save both the mother and the infant in a complicated pregnancy, only to come so close but one dies (in fact I think scrubs had a similar scene); or when the teacher tries so hard to turn her no-good students straight, but one of them ends up dying right after they shape up. I don't much like their music.
Strong Debut Sep 15, 2008 This is a solid but not great album. The two main singles are Over My Head and How to Save a Life. Both songs got alot of airplay and will be familar to any buyer of this album. I imagine in 10 years from now How to Save a Life will still be played. The problem that I have with this album is it sounds too polished and too commercial it missing the raw sound of an up and coming band. It is great back background music and is worth the money (less than $9 what a great deal) it will make a great addition to any collection.
Best CD I've ever heard Aug 02, 2008 I don't even know where to begin. This is definitely the best CD I have heard in a long time. I got this album after hearing the song "Over My Head" on the radio, and instantly fell in love. Every single song on this album is unique and it really highlights how talented these four young men are. I recommend this album to anyone who likes good music! It is worth the money! I can't wait for their upcoming album, which will be out pretty soon!!
The Fray CD Review Jul 28, 2008 I have had this CD for a few months now and I have also loaded it into my IPOD. This CD is one of my favorites and I listen to it quite frequently. Many of the songs, although not popular on the radio, are not to be missed on this CD.

How Do You Save This CD? Jul 22, 2008 When I bought this CD, I knew and loved their three singles: How to Save a Life, Over My Head (Cable Car), and Look After You. I thought "hey, I love these songs, the cd is surely full of gems like these!" But when I got home and listened to it, every song sounded the same. Same piano, slow tempo, sad, sensitive lyrics. I literally wasn't even sure if a new song had begun or not without checking what track it was on. In the end, I wish I'd just bought the 3 songs I already liked-- there was nothing else that stood out to me on the cd. It's fine, it's nice, it's calming... but it's boring, too.
