 amazing!!! May 08, 2008
i really recomend this cd! i wasn't really into superchick until i saw them live this february, but i bought this cd and i love it! before i'd only heard 'pure' and 'we live' and, while they're great songs, they really arn't a fair representation of superchick. this is my favorite cd right now!!!

I love Superchick! This is a really good album of theirs.
1.Anthem (10/10 stars)A really good,up-beat song!
2.Pure (8/10) A good song, just a little slow for my tastes.
3.Bowling Ball (10/10) My favorite!! Great lyrics, music, and melody!
4.Stories(Down to the Bottom) (6/10) Good message, but a little boring compared to the other songs.
5.Wishes (10/10) My other favorite! Great message.
6.Beauty From Pain (10/10) A wonderful song. It's a little slow, but has a great message everyone should know and blieve in.
7.It's On (10/10) Yet another favorite of mine! Great music and lyrics.
8.Suddenly (8/10) A good song, but not my favorite.
9.Courage (8/10) Another good song, but not the best on the CD.
10. We Live (10/10) Wonderful message, and wonderful song!!
This CD is a very good Superchick album, with many important messages. A+!

Superchick is a band that gets it. My favorite songs on this album are Stand in the Rain and Beauty from Pain, but I am growing to love all of them.
Music is powerful. These songs definately help me feel like I have the secret element of "girl power" and I can get through the day. If you're in need of a CD that helps you press on through the pain, this is the album for you.

Fantastic band for young and old alike, but specifically for the 10-18 crowd because they really speak to the kids about what they are going through in their lives, things parents are not as likely to speak to them about as often. They hear these great songs over and over and it helps to mold their personality to believe what they are saying. A DEFINATE BUY!!! Tell all your friends!!!!!

I don't have the original Beauty from Pain album. I have Beauty from Pain 1.1, but the CD has all the songs from Beauty from Pain except Stories, and they have added a song (Stand in the Rain).
Anthem-4/5: This song is one of the best on the album!
Pure-4-5: Fun. It makes you want to get up and dance.
Bowling Ball-3/5: It's not one of my favorites. Now don't get me wrong,this is a good song, but it could be better.
We Live-3/5: This song is pretty slow, but has a really true message.
One Girl Revolution:2/5: This song is pure, hard rock, that's why I don't like it very much.
Wishes-1/5: This is my least favorite. It isn't normal-sung it is scream-sung.
Stand in the Rain-4/5
Courage-10/5: This is my absolute favorite. The beat and message makes you shiver, though.
It's On-3/5: It's OK.
Suddenly-3/5: Like It's On: It's OK.
Beauty from Pain-5/5: This song is beautiful, and the message is so powerful!
I highly recommend this album. If you buy it, you won't be sorry!
