1GOOD Charlotte? Really? I could have sworn they were called "Abominal Charlotte"...  Jun 10, 2008
There's a reason that people with good tastes in music hate filth like Good Charlotte. What's even more embarrassing is that people actually consider trash like this "Punk", when it ain't. And to say they're emo too is also an understatement, they're NOT emo either. What are they??? POP!!!!!! These guys are pure pop. I mean, whan was the last time The Dead Kennedys, Bad Religion and/or Anti-Flag released music that sounds just like this? Their music suck complete balls, as does their lyrics too. I mean, how does it get any stupider than this (from "Predictable"):

I knew it all along
You're so predictable
I knew something would go wrong
So you don't have to call
Or say anything at all
You're so predictable

[sarcasm]OMG THAT'S AMAZING!!!!! NOT EVEN STEVE HARRIS OF THE LEGENDARY IRON MAIDEN COULD HAVE WROTE THAT!!!![/sarcasm]

To be honest with you, I have never liked this crap, even when it was popular. If you want real punk, listen to Anti-Flag, The Dead Kennedys, or even The Misfits. As well as real OTHER music in general would be Iron Maiden (the greatest band ever IMO), Led Zeppelin, Coheed and Cambria, Judas Priest, etc...

Look, really don't waste your money on this MTV garbage. There's enough stuff out there that rocks, if you keep your eyes open you may find it.

1chronicles!??!  Feb 15, 2008
chronicles?? who cares about this band? The origional release was utter manufactured trash and this is no different. Reprinted manufactured trash.

5This one is my favorite by GC...  Sep 13, 2007
I'd have to say out of all of GC's albums, even including their latest "Good Morning Revival" that this one is their best. I love their 2nd and the newest one. But something about this album that I just LOVE. They grew a lot on this album and it's much deeper lyrically and definitely more complicated musically. The whole album itself just has a deeper feel to it. One of my favorite songs is "In This World (Murder)" is probably the darkest song on the album..I love how dramatic and haunting the song is and the ending of the song is incredible with a "gothic choir" sound (don't know how else to describe it). Anyway, not all of it is dark and dreary..There's a couple of lighter songs on it such as "Walk Away" (great song) and "Boys and Girls", another fun one is "The World is Black". There isn't really a song that I don't like on this record..and the 'death' track called "meet my maker" is really good too, I would recommend this version over the life version definitely. Good record by a good band and if you want a GC album, this is the best choice (or any of them :) HAHA).

1Most disappointing album EVER  Oct 20, 2006
Having rather enjoyed their self-titled album and "The Young And The Hopeless", I made the mistake of buying this boring and musically morbid CD.

If this was an attempt by Good Charlotte to expand the group's musical horizons, then it's a perfect failure which perhaps demonstrates that the boys had by this point reached the limits of their creativity.

If the album were not bad enough, I find the marketing technique of issuing two nearly identical CDs that differ only in the so-called "bonus song" offered to be cheesy at best. If that doesn't embrace the term "sell out", then nothing does.

5Come on.   Mar 27, 2006
It is really sad when people go on artist product sites and write trash about them when they dont even listen to the product, besdies what you hear on the radio.

I mean come on. Give it up.
You obviously cant escape them, so you might as well deal with it.

SO if you dont like them, dont talk about them. The people here that do talk about them and only talk about hate for them.

So STFU. Ignore it, go listen to your "GOOD music" and let the fans listen to GC. They are obviously sucessful in what they do and will continue. SO just bit your tongue and go on with your life.

I mean if you hate them so much, why the shiz do you write long things about it. Real people would just go on with their normal lives and not care. Cause thats what cool people do.

I like Good Charlotte. Im 16. What?
Who the freak cares. I dont bother with your music.
Dont bother with mine.

(I am referring to all the gc haters who feel the need to waste space on something they hate) not anyone in particular. Just them =)
