Finally! Jul 14, 2008 There are 3 excellent tunes on this CD that I have heard on FM & satellite radio for years (Ain't Comin Home, Devil's Daughter, & Blue Jeans), and I finally bought it. I can't believe it took me this long. Full of fun, catchy songs, you can see/feel where newer bands (like Anew Revolution, Rev Theory, Saving Abel, Course of Nature, etc.) get some of their stuff.

It's cool, If yer stoned.........& that aint bad. Sep 18, 2007 "Ain't commin' home" & "Devils daughter", Are well produced. The rest of the album would fit in "live" at a good & rowdy biker bar or a skate punk party. Good garage band. Lets leave it at that.......
Show And Tell Aug 30, 2007 Silvertide-Show And Tell ****
Silvertide have all the right incrediants to become a really great band. Calling upon classic influences like the blues and hard rock acts like Aerosmith, The Rolling Stones, AC/DC, The Black Crowes, and Buddy Guy. With incredible musicianship the band seems to have it all. A fantastic guitar player who is way ahead of most of the guitar players to come along in the last ten years. A front man who has pipes that go on for days.
But where the band seems to faulter is in their material. The songs have structure and are reminecent of some of the best material of their idols, but it is all very generic. It has the potential to be great but comes across as a cop. The lead single and opener to the album 'Aint Comin Home' is one of the strongest rock n' roll songs in a long time. Wonderful vocals from Walt Lafty accompanied by a great guitar solo make this the perfect opener. 'Devils Daughter' could almost have the exact same thing said about it. 'S.F.C' (short for So F****** Crazy) is good but has a large layer of velvetta cheese on top. 'Blue Jeans' could be amazing but the production makes it too good and it is sort of like eating the whole cake instead of a few slices. 'Mary Jayne' is clever with loads of play on words and puns to make the lyrics fun, and the musicanship is asstonding especially Nick Perris guitar riffs. 'California Rain' is almost there, and 'Heartstong is just plane fake. 'To See Where I Hide' and 'You Want It All' are just short of being authentic while 'Nothing Stays' may be the albums best track barried among a pile of junk. 'Foxhole J.C' is really just the wrong song to close with.
This album shows loads of promise and next time around the boys should hit it out of the park. For their style they should aim for a grittier production opposed to this glossed over Mutt Lange sounding album. The tunes are their the boys just need to find a groove

not bad Nov 04, 2006 this band has everything i like in rock n roll but the cd didnt knock my socks off. not sure if its the production or the lyrics but it never made rotation in my cd player.they will be great if their record label gives them time to experience things worth singing about.
