Old Nick Carter Oct 28, 2007 Ok, I am a huge BSB fan. I bought Nick's "Now or Never" cd. It rocks. I heard this cd was out and thought I would buy it to see what early Nick sounds like. I was surprised because his voice has not changed as much as I thought it did. I have heard an early BSB song ("Tell Me That I'm Dreaming") which was made when he first joined the group. So, his voice was pretty much still the same as it was on this cd. If you are a HUGE Nick Carter fan, this is a must have. If you just want to see what he sounded like when he was 13, you can pretty much listen to his little brother's (Aaron)first cd. There is not much of a difference.

Nick Carter BEFORE the Backstreet Boys 1989-1993 Dec 27, 2006 This is a good album by Nick Carter. When I first got this CD (I got it for Christmas) I had no clue as of what to expect from such a young kid. Nick really does resemble his younger brother Aaron Carter in this album. I really like it as well. My favorite songs are: Summer, Hard to Get, Uptown Girl, Mansion in Malibu, as well as others. I almost started laughing when I listened to Uptown Girl when I heard the words "I bet she never had a Backstreet Guy" but I also got to thinking, how ironic is this? Nick's singing about a Backstreet Guy, and that's actually what he grew up to be... A Backstreet Boy. I highly recommend this album to add to your collection because as we get closer to the year 2007, albums like this one allow us to look back at what our favorite singers were like when they were younger. If you liked this album well enough, I would also recommend Nick Carter Now or Never to go along with it.

A BSB fan must-have! Mar 10, 2006 If you're a fan of Nick Carter or the Backstreet Boys, big or small, owning this album is a must! It's a compilation of all of Nick's demos from the years 1989-1993.
I must admit, his voice resembles a slightly deeper tone of his younger brother, pop sensation, Aaron Carter. I was shocked by the album... the songs he performs don't do him justice- he sounds spectacular all through the album. It's an adorable flashback that's well worth the money.

He sounds better than he does now! Nov 22, 2005 I wasn't expecting much from a 12 year old Nick, but I was blown away by the recording quality and vocal performances on this CD. My personal favorite song is Lights, a Journey cover done spot perfect. If you're a Nick fan or just want to hear a very talented young man put his print on some classic rock and roll, check it out!

wtf? Nov 21, 2005 As if the backstreet boys weren't bad enough, now we have this kind of cash-in dross. don't waste your money. donate it to charity, use it for grocery's, treat yourself to a meal out, avoid this nonsense.
