ONE OF THE BEST R&B ALBUMS IN MY COLLECTION.... Nov 09, 2004 Trina and Tamera are great singers (sisters to jesse powell). too bad they did not get any exposure because this LP is hot to def... my uncle bought this cd and i was like "who are they>?" i knew they would not be around for long... then i listen to that album and i wonder to this date why they are not out right now...
my favourite song on the album and is probably one of my favourite songs EVER is 'settle for my love' this song is crazy... the harmonies, the beat, the chorus, and the feel got to me fast...great car jam....
'blue', 'what you came here for'(remix), 'sister', and '29' are the best songs on the album... probably the worst song on the album is probably 'joanne' (remix) w/ EVE... this should have been cut out. the original is way way way better...
well i know no one is going to read this just because nobody knows who they are... but if someone is out there and is reading this... buy this album. this is a great r & B album and this LP should have got the attention that it should have 5 years ago...
10+ stars

This album is COOL from beginning to END!! Sep 08, 2004 It starts off with the song "What You Come Here Fot"..a party song basically askin why he come if he's not going to dance. Then goes into the nice cut "Nothin New"...the JAM "Joanne"(i love this song)..the song "29" (written with the WONDERFUL DEBORAH COX)is another great ballad song that they seem to pull off VERY WELL...."Settle For My Love" and "Makin Love" both worth listening to.."The song "How Could This Be The End" another nice song...Overall you could pop this cd in and listen to it..quite relaxing..their vocal skills and sex appeal meet at the perfect angle and this album should have gotten a little bit more publicity than it did..
Starting off as back up singers and writing songs for other artist..these sisters of Jesse Powells' know what they are doing.
OVERALL GRADE 79/100 = C+

Decent Jun 22, 2000 I liked the song "What'd You Come Here For?" so much that I broke my rule and bought the CD without having heard any of the other songs. I'm not disappointed. "Joanne" is a nice dance cut -- sassy lyrics. Being a true old school junkie, I was skeptical about their remake of Patrice Rushen's classic slow jam "Settle for My Love". T&T did a nice job with it. Kinda funky. A couple of the fast songs sound alike to me, but overall the CD has some nice dance cuts, a decent slow jam or two. It's worth the money just for the main cut, "What'd You Come Here For?"

club jams purely Sep 01, 1999 Trina and Tamara does it best with the club bangers, carryin the songs sweetly as their supreme vocal ability compliments each others'. "Joanne", "Nothin New" and "What You'd come Here for?" are the stand out tracks and althought their expertise lies within the booty shakin tracks, "29" is surely sweet. Buy the album if you prefer to dance other than listen to heart-wrenching ballads cause this album doesnt really shine with the slow songs, you gotta love to dance.
