Weird Al clasic Apr 14, 2008 This is for the true Weird Al lover. You should have it in your collection if only for "The Biggest Ball Of Twine In Minnesota"
Weird Al, still funny as ever Jan 09, 2007 I grew up with weird al and my kids still enjoy his humor as much as I did.
a sound track to a very underated movie. Dec 01, 2005 Ok so in 1989 people were to busy smoking crack, to realise the greatest comedy ever just came out. UHF was a flop, but it was also a great movie. Now for the soundtrack. Its good stuff. (come to think of it only 5 tracks were actually in the movie)
Money for nothing/Beverly Hillbillies-Funny song about the Beverly Hillbillies.
Gandhi II-A preview for a U62 movie, about Gandhi killing bad guys and parting with the ladies. Its only about a minuet long but very good.
Attack of the Radioactive Hampsters from a planet near mars-Thats a mouth full. One if not the best song on the CD, about Hampsters that "Got to close the the microwave".
Isle thing-Parody of "Wild thing" about gilligans island. Probaly the worst track on the CD, but still good.
The hot rocks polka-Making fun of classic Rolling Stones songs, not as good as polka power, but still good.
UHF-Very good song about how Weird Al wants to turn you into a couch patato.
Let me be your hog-Its about 16 seconds long...maybe you should lisen to this one for yourselfs.
She drives like crazy-Parody of "She drives me crazy" very good song about a crappy driver. "Shes a demon, behind the wheel. Thinks shes driving the bat-mobile."
Generic blues-Song about weird al being depressd, and how he thinks he should kill himself...or go bowling.
Spatula City- 1:07 comercail about a store only selling spatulas. I laughed my ass off when I saw this in the movie. "Spatula city, we sell spatulas..and thats all."
Fun Zone-No real lyrics to speak of, kinda catchy though.
Spam-Parody of REM's "Stand". One of the better tracks: "Oh spam in the place where I live!"
The biggest ball of twine in Minnesota-About Weird Al taking his familey to: you guest it. And picking up a hitch hiker named barry who steals their camera. Maybe the best track on the CD. One of Weird Al's best songs ever.
UHF Sep 29, 2005 A must have for every Weird Al fan. I listen to it every day.
Excellent album from a very talented guy! Sep 02, 2005 This album was released in 1989, and is in part the soundtrack to "Weird Al" Yankovic's movie UHF, but most of its contents is not included in the movie. On this album, included in the movie, is the song "Money For Nothing/Beverly Hillbillies," the movie's theme "UHF," two clips from the movie, and an instrumental called "Fun Zone." All of those are quite good. However, there's also a lot of great stuff on this album that is not included in the movie, such as "The Hot Rocks Polka," which is a polka medley of Rolling Stones songs. There are also some great parodies, along with some great originals. My favourite song on here is an original called "Generic Blues." Now, that one can sure crack listeners up! A must-have for all "Al-oholics!"
