This was an enjoyable collection of old school music. I primarily purchased it for the Chapter 8 classic,(with Anita Baker), I Just Wanna Be Your Girl, and Lenny Williams, Cause I Love You...aka the begging song...New Birth's Wildflower, and Rose Royce's I'm Going Down.
As our "albums" disintegrate, warp or scratch beyond playing, it's great to know that we can pluck our obscure favorites and play them again, on updated media...again and again.

Slow Jams: The Timeless Collection, Vol. 1 features eleven greatslow jams from the seventies. If you want some sensuality check out Tonight's The Night by Betty Wright ,Let's Get It On by Marivn Gaye and the guartneed boot knocker Between The Sheets by The Isley Brothers. If you need a song to help you through the heartbreak then there's Why Have I Lost You by Cameo and I'm Going Down by Rose Royce. Fiannly for some devoted love you have I Just Wanna Be Your Girl by Chapter 8 and the CLASSIC Cause I Love You by Lenny Williams.

To find a compilation that you can let just play all the way through without feeling the urge to skip an errantly, illed placed song! This entire CD is fantastic! Nothing but classic, old school jams from start to finish! Each and every song..from the Isley to O'Bryan to Chapter 8 to Cameo!
