Simple Times is a great CD by Joshua Radin. I love singing along to it in the car and listening to it while I am studying - it is great for background music.

I heard Joshua Radin on the Bonnie Hunt show. I had never heard his music before, and really liked it so bought it right away. I have had it in the car with me for the past couple of weeks. It actually calms my baby down when he gets fussy in the car. Great album.

Considering the unfaltering continuity of Joshua Radin's first (first popular, albeit technically his second album) it is justifiably difficult for him to top his own work. "We Were Here" is a flawless CD. In comparison, Simple Times is sort of just that--simple. The tunes are good, but nothing stood out to me as addicting and compelling or any other specific feeling I might have craved after his other album. Having said that though, it's his iTunes versions of his songs that do it for me...the song versions many of us heard him play on tour and enjoyed via myspace. The tunes are altered and are not as wonderful on the CD, sadly. I highly recommend downloading via iTunes, rather than buying this version even as much as I hate to say it considering I've met the guy twice and he's a gem, but we're talking about the CD here and it is what it is...

Im so glad I got this cd,its calming but also cheery at the same time.Its what I call happy sad music.Im not a fan of the Ben Harper/Jack Johnson genre,its not bad,just listening to it makes me sad.This album is anything but depressing,you can be in any mood and it will be right along there with you.Get this CD!Its Awsome!

This CD is very good. I love the mellow voice of Joshua. It puts me in a mellow mood, makes me smile and allows me to feel some emotions. I bought this CD on the advice of a friend and I'm glad I listened. I am very into acoustic music right now and this fit in perfectly with my current collection of CDs. Nice work!
